Friday February First Ferret Frolic...

Jeffie – Big, heavy, slow moving, non-aggressive, and great to play with – in other words – my kind of ferret. Jeffie enjoyed running through the tunnels and rolling around in the box of leaves. He was quite inquisitive and ran his nose over every inch of my shoes and hands. Amanda and I cleaned his ears and added the ear mite meds to each ear.

Tommy and Bailey – Through the tunnel, into and out of the toy bag, into and out of every empty  litter and food bag, get snuggled by Amanda, bolt under the cages, through the drawers, find the treats container, open the container, eat the treats, get caught, blame it on the other ferret, place both ferrets on their backs and tickle their bellies,  repeat.

Gizmo – We let him out last. He managed to wander up the stairs after a gate was carelessly left open by, um, Bailey. I tracked Gizmo down in the kitchen mixing up a screwdriver. I scolded him for not also making one for Amanda and I then took him back downstairs. Gizmo tunneled, dooked, and generally carried on. He climbed up on to the top of one of the cages, and helped himself to some of the Tds.
